Visual Multiplication

 

I often hear that if students could just memorize there multiplication facts they would be better off.  I see how learning them is essential in what I teach at the secondary level however, if they are a visual learner or don’t know why it works it may be hard to learn or remember.  Here’s a quick way I am showing students I’m working with this summer.  This is a visual way that shows them the groups and you can discuss how it’s repeated addition.

Among Us Template
